This set is comprised of vintage Vistalite drum orphans that I purchased over time and restored.
Bass Drum 24″ x 14″ – ten large Ludwig classic lugs front and back, tension rods and claws, Ludwig bass drum tom mount, and legs. Vintage wood hoops with gold sparkle inlays, and clear silver dot batter head and custom magenta resonate head.
Bass Drum 22″ x 14″ – ten large Ludwig classic lugs front and back, tension rods and claws, Ludwig bass drum tom mount, and spurs. Vintage wood hoops with gold sparkle inlays, and clear silver dot batter head and custom “Amber Lady” resonate head.
Floor Tom 16″ x 16″ – eight large Ludwig classic lugs top and bottom, Ludwig tone control, Ludwig classic leg mounts and legs, Ludwig rims.
Concert Tom 15″ x 12″ – eight small Ludwig classic lugs top only, Ludwig classic clip tom mount, Ludwig rim.
Concert Tom 14″ x 10″ – six small Ludwig classic lugs top only, Ludwig classic clip tom mount, Ludwig rim. This drum has a Ludwig badge that is identical to the other badges but lacks the blue and olive paint. From the information I have gathered, this was intentional – not a mistake in printing, or anything. This special badge was apparently intended to help track prototype drums. It does not appear to be different from other concert toms of this era, other than the badge. It could have been an prototype of a concert tom in a configuration that became the standard. I’m told that drums with this type badge is very rare.
Concert Tom 13″ x 9″ – six small Ludwig classic lugs top only, Ludwig classic clip tom mount, Ludwig rim.
Concert Tom 12″ x 8″ – six small Ludwig classic lugs top only, Ludwig classic clip tom mount, Ludwig rim.
Snare 14″ x 5″ – ten small Ludwig classic Bow Tie lugs, Ludwig tone control, snare wires, throw and butt. Ludwig standard batter and snare side rims. This drum is a mint condition vintage Ludwig Vistalite and it has an excellent snare bed.
